Question 2: what is her purpose?
Having read Asher's essay, I think she wrote it to speak of the kindness people showed him. Also because she wanted to let people know about the homeless people in newYork city and what there lives are like and how people treat them an there thoughts about them.
She talked about how the homeless lived on the streets, and how people didnt help they walked past them and gave them looks like they were bad people.
